Hi Tom, Frankly, you are the first ever requesting this from our PMC - at least - the first I'm aware of. The "PMC" this page talks about is usually the project leadership which (when in doubt) goes to the top-level PMC. Thus, feel free to approve them yourself if you feel comfortable with it.
