Re: [technology-pmc] PMC approval needed for committer vote for Marc Aubry

If you browse their git repo, you see numerous commits with Marc as the author. That’s more than enough justification for me. What would be helpful, especially when presenting bug links as the justification if the bug had a link to the git commit record in the portal.

I agree. There is no actual evidence of contribution of anything more than ideas represented in these bugs.

I looked through several other bugs, but haven't been able to find a single actual code contribution.

Benjamin, can you point us to specific examples of actual contribution?

None of those Bugzilla links shows any code contribution from Marc (no attachments). I'm not sure if that's an innocuous oversight or what, but I'd like to see evidence of his contributions in Bugzilla. Isn't any code contributed by non-committers *required* to go that route? I don't think contributing via a github fork is enough, is it?

Marc Aubry was nominated by Benjamin Cabe as follows:
I am nominating Marc as a committer on Koneki.
Marc has been providing many code contributions to LDT and has been part of
the Koneki team for several months now. He is also of great help on the
forum where he provides support to our users.

It would be great to have him as a committer (and would also make it much
easier to get his code contributions in, without having to maintain a
github fork :))

His contributions include [371535], [384933], [388758], [391354] among many
