Greetings Nebula developers.
The election for Angelo has completed. Unfortunately, I can only
find two bugs under Nebula [1] with contributions from Angelo and
neither of them have actually been committed. In the nomination
criteria, Wim states "Angelo is committed to Eclipse and he has
contributed to many bug reports." Perhaps my Bugzilla-fu is weak;
can you point me to some of those bug reports?
Becoming a committer requires a demonstration of merit. The election
criteria should describe that merit in the most specific (but
concise) detail possible. Generally, it is enough to cite a handful
of bugs. Or--in the case of a contribution of significant new
functionality--that a new committer is being brought on to support
that new functionality.
As I dig into the two bug reports that I've found, I notice that
they seem to be significant new functionality and that you have
opened CQs for the contribution. Can we reasonably argue that this
is signficant new functionality and that will be enhanced and
supported by Angelo moving forward?
