Hi everyone,

My name is Farouk, and I’m a Software Engineering student from Canada interested in contributing to SW360 for Google Summer of Code 2026.

I have experience with Java, Spring Boot, React, and cloud-based applications, and I’ve worked on full-stack and DevOps-based projects.

SW360 really interests me because it aligns closely with my current work and learning, especially around backend systems and software supply chain management.

I’d love to start contributing, could you please guide me to beginner-friendly issues or areas where I can help?
