Re: [sumo-user] SUMO doubt

Generally speaking, the SO should be better than the UE but since both are only an approximation, a worse result is possible. Note, that you need to include departDelay in your result analysis and also have to make sure that all vehicles have arrived for a fair comparison.
I recommend running all algorithms on a mix of abstract and real-world scenarios. Preferably, including some where SO and UE can be derived analytically.

Hello,

I'm comparing my algorithm implementation (similar to duaIterate) with the approximate SO and the approximate UE both given by duaIterate. Does it make sense that the SO is greater than the UE? I'm not calibrating the exp parameter, but I have tried values in the range from 0.2 to 10 and no improvement was made.

Also, what is the best way to compare my own algorithm with yours or in general for a publication?

Best,
Germán
