|Re: [sumo-user] converted shape file to sumo network file|
The recommended way for converting OSM data to a .net.xml file is by importing the OSM data directly (https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Networks/Import/OpenStreetMap.html).Is there a strong reason for converting to a shape file as an intermediate step?Am Do., 10. I am a beginner in the use of the SUMO software. I am trying to convert a Shape file to a sumo network file from NETCONVERT.
I have a Shape file obtained from an OSM (Open Street Map) file containing the ring of a gyratory. When I have done the conversion by NETCONVERT of the Shape file into a sumo network file, the operation works except that once the conversion is done and by opening the sumo network file obtained the ring of the gyratory does not appear. I tried to solve the problem but I couldn't succeed, thank you for your help. I attach:
-The Error Message,-The project Shape file,(Atteched).
-The SUMO network file obtained after converting the Shape file to CONVERT,(Atteched).
Without Ring Sincerely
