Please give more details on the errors you experience with 1.9.2. In almost all cases, 1.9.2 is supposed to be backward compatible with 1.3.1 and if it isn't we need to fix it.

Regarding your build issues, an error log would help as well.

Does anyone have idea or suggestion how to downgrade SUMO to older version on Mac? Specifically I want version 1.3.1. My project cannot run anymore after I upgrade sumo from 1.3.1 to 1.9.2.

I have tried to use download source code and build myself from https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Installing/MacOS_Build.html. But failed. There are tons of errors to build it myself.
