Re: [sumo-user] Arrival rate of car.
If you use option --scale with values > 1 then some of the cars are duplicated but their departure time remains unchanged.
In case your original scenario has very sparse departures (i.e. a car ~ every 300s) and you use --scale 10 then you will get bursts of 10 cars every 5 minutes.
Using --random-depart-offset you can smooth out those bursts.

Actually, I didn't made the simulation myself. I am using someone else simulated map for my traffic light signal generation project.
