Hello Gerald,

you can use any XODR viewer (i.e. http://www.opendrive.org/download.html) to generate raster images and load these images into sumo-gui / netedit as background image.

as I do have the need to extend some functionality for handling xodr
data imported into sumo,
I was wondering of anything is known to exist to visually compare the
data in the 2 formats.

meaning: rendering elements in 2 layers, zooming scrolling...
