Re: [stp-user] stp/ganymede release usable?
|
Hi, Antoine:
Thanks for reply! And sorry for the vague description.
Take the linux eclipse-stp for instance, after the all-in-one package is released into the eclipse directory, I find there's only one SOA Tools creation option (Bpmn Diagram) in the eclipse 'new wizard'.
In this case, I redeploy an new eclipse and utilize the STP Ganymede updates site for installation. The installation works! However, no matter enabling an existing project for JAX-WS, or creating a new JAX-WS Java First project, I can't annotate neither a class or a method. (button clicked, but no response, I have specified the CXF/JAX-WS path)
By the way, since I am a novice to STP, I noticed current STP (compared to the one described in the IBM's developworks 'Use the Eclipse SOA Tools Platform plug-in to build and deploy a web service') requires the user to
specify a java class or interface that will be used as a web service, which is supposed to already exist before the project creation. It's very confused for me now.
Thanks!
Best Regards
ye

Please tell us a bit more about the problems you encountered. "Nothing works" is a bit too vague.
Regarding the wiki page, best to ask about it on the eclipse.foundation newsgroup. I think all those dates were left unassigned because the council chose to let projects have things done at their own pace.
Thanks,
Antoine
