I'm not sure I agree.  I admit that it does seem analagous, but that doesn't necessarily mean its overlapping.  The reason I'm not convinced there's an overlap is that if you took this proposal away and tried to implement the same solution using STP, I'm not convinced you'd be able to do it.  Perhaps you could, or perhaps we would need to broaden STP in order to allow this technology to be an extension of STP, I haven't spent enough time thinking about it yet.  But I don't think we should rush to judgement.

yip, mostly overlap expect for one language and no assembly model.
