Even if the SC feature gets fixed the (download page guided)
installation still has problems.
According to the dwonload page the requirements are as follows:
The Eclipse driver used in this build is
eclipse-SDK-3.3M6-linux-gtk.tar.gz.
The EMF driver used in this build is emf-sdo-xsd-SDK-2.3.0M6.zip
The GEF driver used in this build is GEF-ALL-3.3M6.zip
Java EMF Model Runtime driver used in this build is JEM-SDK-1.2.zip
Web Tools Platform driver used in this build is
wtp-sdk-S-2.0M6-200704060120.zip
GMF Platform driver used in this build is GMF-sdk-2.0M6a.zip
After downloading and unzipping all the packages the update manager
reports several errors:
SOA System Project Feature (0.5.0.HEAD--7S-0saCT) requires plug-in
"org.eclipse.datatools.connectivity.ui (1.0.0)", or later version.
Graphical Modeling Framework Runtime
(1.0.100.v20070403-150-7b-EHPY1PCGPEAblcu-CB) requires feature
"org.eclipse.emf.ocl (1.0.0)", or compatible.
Graphical Modeling Framework SDK
(2.0.0.v20070403-150-7c77AiLJAq9aRtVVloWF2o3m10DC) requires plug-in
"org.eclipse.emf.validation (1.1.0)", or compatible.
The first error is due to a missing DTP plugin, and the second and the
third are about GMF missing OCL and Validation from the Modeling
Project.
Maybe those should be added to the requirements list in the download
page.
I do not know the exact milestones that should be pointed out - I am
installing them from the Europa Discovery Site
(http://download.eclipse.org/releases/europa).
