[stellation-res] Re: NPE bug, working at home this morning

sorry that I forgot to keep you updated: I fixed it by adding "B.S_ID" to the end of the SELECT clause.  t should to work okay, because the database will just return extra info that is not needed.  Do you mind to change that and try it with your tests?  Thanks so much!

Hi Annie,

I wanted to let you know I started working on the nearest-common-ancestor
NPE bug yesterday (after spending too much time improving the Cloudscape
test fixture support!).  I'm definitely reproducing it; it definitely did
not happen with Postgres (I'll repeat the test suite again using Postgres,
just to confirm that).  FWIW, there's a preceding SQL exception ("B.S_ID
not found in query result")which I'm assuming is related.  If you have any
ideas about that, please let me know (by email; Sametime is being
uncooperative at present).   I'll keep you posted on my progress.

I'm working home at present, and may not be in today.  Let me know if
there's something
I should come in for --

Jim
