[stellation-res] Sorry for the
|
Hi... I just wanted to drop a quick note to the list to let you know
why I haven't
been more active in the server-architectural discussion this week.
My children's daycare is closed this week for summer vacation, and in
a fit of perfect timing, they managed to bring home both a vicious
cox-sackie
virus, *and* conjuctivitis (aka pinkeye).
CS is, in children, a fairly minor infection - high fever, but not too
many other symptoms. But in adults, it's like a *really* bad flu. So
I've been pretty much stuck in bed, with a
103 degree fever, a throbbing headache, a throat so sore I could barely
talk or eat,
and eyes so swollen and painful that I can barely see.
Anyway - I'm on the upswing from both... The medication is really
kicking in on the
conjunctivitis (thus I can see well enough to actually write email
again!), and the
cox-sackie lasts 5-7 days and I'm on day 5. So hopefully in another day
or so, I'll
be feeling well enough to get back to the specs and start talking
architecture.
(By the way, are there any Z fans out there for specifications?)
