Yes, on both counts.
Please take a look at the "Core Build and Installation" document in the
Developer Documentation section of the Documentation page (Stellation home
page > Documentation > "Core Build and Installation").
The actual document title is "Building and Installing the Stellation Core
Components"; the last update was 6 March 2003. (If you find any errors,
please let me know;
it should be fully up to date.)
The 'Testing' section covers both local and remote testing. As detailed,
it's necessary to start the remote server externally to the Ant script.
