[stellation-res] Stellation GUI sound reasonable?

Good morning...

I have a question for ya'll.  Or more closely an opinion gathering task.

Would a non-Eclipse gui be of any use to the Stellation project?  I'm
referring to a tool similar to gCVS or WinCVS for those poor souls that
can't or won't use Eclipse.  (Which, BTW, I still can't get the plugin 0.0.7
to work completely in M4 or M5, but I'll send another mail to the list later
on that one).

What I am talking about is a Swing based Java app that can be used in place
of the command line for those that are "command-line impared," yes, I
actually have quite a few of those working on my development teams.  They
really do think Java code is only producable from inside an IDE.  But, I
digress.  If something like this were to be constructed, of course, it would
leverage as much of the existing plug-in code as possible to maintain re-use
aspects.

Any thoughts?  Ideas?  Comments?

If the idea is sound, I would be glad to start work on a prototype in my
non-work hours.
