I checked in latest workspace changes, and have just tried both of 
Mark's suggestions (chkconfig and 'service ipchains stop'),
and I still get failure for

	telnet localhost 3060

Has anyone else besides Rodolfo gotten Stellation to work with Firebird.

I'll probably table Firebird work for now (I was just curious to see Stellation
running on a new rdbm), and move on to updating user guide and tutorial.
