That should work, but there is a multistep process there, where it shows
you changes and lets you decide what to do with them. I don't use that,
so I'm not sure of the details of how it works. (I really dislike the
way that it combines checkin and checkout... It makes it far too easy to
check in an inconsistent version.)
I tend to just use the "update" and "commit" operators on the team
member, which are exactly equivalent to the CVS update and commit
commands.
Anyway... I just created a fresh Eclipse workspace, and did a clean
checkout of core... The deleted files aren't there. So it looks like it
did the right thing.
