Yes, you can vote. For decisions about things like who gets commit
rights on the repository, we have to be formal, and go with
committer-only voting. But for just about anything else, anyone
who participates is included.
So, so far, it looks like we'll be sticking with the mailing list. Ah,
well.
My newsreader, PAN, is better than Evolution, my e-mail client, at handling threads. However, I would prefer to keep the newsgroup for a different use.
Once a stable version of Stellation is out, there might be a lot of users asking How-To questions. Keep the newsgroup ready for that and, preferably, only that.
There are several lists related to Eclipse development and only those who develop Eclipse post there. Most Eclipse users post in the Tools newsgroup. Maybe the same should happen with Stellation.
