[stellation-res] Updates in CVS and Stellation

The repositories are now up to date with one another. I've synched
Ringo's changes into the Stellation repos, and the IBM gang's
changes into CVS. The core, scm.ui, and scm.model projects
are changed in both repositories.

Ringo: can you put an entry into the changelog when you make
changes? Thanks!
