[statet-users] problem launching eclipse with rmiregistry

Hi

 

I’m working with eclipse 2019-03 and statet4.0.1 on a windows station. My computer suddenly decided to stop launching R app using Rj, it is stuck with the following message starting registry(RMI), in the background I see it’s trying to get access to service host DNS client.

I’ve tried to :

Update my java version to the latest

Update my R version to the latest 3.6.1 while re-installing the rj package.

Stop all firewalls

Run start rmiregistry from the command shell (and it works)

Since the log files only get registered once the rmi registry is launched (Am I right ?) I don’t see any log.

 

Does anyone has an idea of where I should try next  ?
