Create a new resource group `jakarta-starter-rg" in the Eclipse Foundation Azure subscription.
Create an App Service instance in that group for the starter named "jakarta-starter-ui". The instance should use the latest JBoss EAP and corresponding latest supported Java SE.
I expect the community can complete this work if access is provided. All we need from the EF IT team is access to the Azure subscription. Is this correct?
Please LMK if you can assist. If I do
not hear back from you soon, I am going to move
ahead with this. I think the only thing that’s in
the way is Jenkins permissions?
It has taken me quite a while, but here we are
(it's been busy for various reasons including
Jakarta Agentic AI). I have now thoroughly
cleaned up, bug fixed, and tested everything.
Can we kindly have a release of both the
Archetype and UI? Once we verify the Maven
Central publish, can you please ask Microsoft to
deploy the fresh UI version?
Thanks!

the process for the next release and
deployment. Having the UI bugs out there
honestly I don’t think is a good thing.
The
UI and Archetype revamp is now
completely done. This includes
addressing all bugs that I could see,
implementing a UI workflow, and
simplifying the UI validation logic as
much as possible, as well as general
streamlining towards hopefully
sustainable maintenance going forward.
It’s
quite a few critical changes. Can you
kindly help test? I’ll test myself some
more too, but just one person testing is
never a good idea for project important
to the community. After that, I think we
are ready for a fresh release.
