Yes, that was the theory and the goal. Jeyvison is well aware. Then comes along practicality and managing to prioritize what amounts to free volunteer work while doing a real paid job that cares little about anything Jakarta EE.
If anyone really thinks they can so easily do better - please, have at it. All yours. It was hard enough for me just to manage to get commitments to provide free cloud hosting from Azure that allows for creating something meaningfully competitive for Jakarta EE. You can try and ask them about whatever else we think we need.
P.S.: This is not the most appropriate venue to discuss personal finances, but suffice it to say finances are not much of an issue and haven’t been for a while. The job search personally is just fine, especially given the situation in IT I see not just for the US, but globally. I suspect as much as 30% unemployment/underemployment in the field in the near term and these jobs will never come back, largely because of generative AI. If we are lucky, AI will create jobs longer term to offset these permanent losses. Thankfully I am at a level that isn’t really affected by these changes too much. Hi Reza,
I wish you all the best to find something worth working for (and of course get a paycheque at the end of the month). And of course, this is your first priority. (Only thing I can recommend that you’d work in Germany instead of the US, as you would have had at least 3 month payed time after being kicked out due to greedy company bosses.)
Nevertheless, it seems that this working group is too much dependent on a single source. We should definitely work on shifting the deployment to an area where several people have access. And we should have it automised, we cannot tell people about all the modern possibilities on conferences and in our own basement do things by hand.

Hi Jeyvison,
I really need to focus on hopefully the last lap of the job transition for this time. After that, hopefully the Starter can be the highest priority but frankly the interview processes now are far more onerous than I can ever remember them to be, so no guarantees it won’t keep dragging on.
So, I sent you a DM on how to move forward. Give it a spin. If you really do need me right now, I’ll try to see what I can do. I am literally heads down preparing a half hour interview presentation right now while simultaneously getting ready for two more traditional interviews including a possible tech screen. I wish I could help right now, but it would be a very foolish thing for me to prioritize at the moment.

Hi, Ivar.
Since the deployment is on Azure it depends on the credentials that Reza has. We tried once to automate it but due to some limitations at Azure side it was not possible. What we usually do is, i create the tags, adjust the tests and run the pipelines in jenkins and then I generate a WAR that I send to Reza and he deploys it.
