Dear Sparkplug community,
The Call for Proposals for Open Community Experience 2027 (OCX27) is now open. OCX27 takes place 13 to 15 April 2027 in Brussels, organised by the Eclipse Foundation.
Industrial IoT fits the Software-Defined Systems & Mobility Track, which covers embedded and edge systems, robotics and connected products. If you have connected devices, data and cloud systems with Sparkplug and MQTT on a real factory floor, the program committee wants to hear how it went: the architecture, the interoperability problems and what you would do differently.
Please note that security of industrial systems, and what the Cyber Resilience Act means for connected products, fit the Cybersecurity & Regulatory Compliance Track.
The committee wants talks grounded in real experience: a working implementation, a lesson learned the hard way, or practical knowledge other teams can use. First-time speakers are welcome.
Early bird deadline: 23 October 2026.
