I apologize for not replying earlier. I have been out on personal time and only paying minimal attention to work email.
My goal with commenting about being eligible for either position was to avoid conflicting with other nominees who were eligible for only one or the other. Since there are no other nominees, it is less important.
Since this is the case, I will confirm only (a) and I will be the SignalFire representative for both committees.

Email from OUTSIDE of TASI Group
Hi Justin:
Correct, no other nominations have been received. As a result, we ask you to confirm the nomination as follows:
a) Participant Member Nomination: SignalFire wishes to hold the Participant Member seat for both committees representing all participant members of the working group.
b) Committer Member Nomination: You, as a Committer Member, are nominating yourself to represent all Sparkplug project committers for both committees.
As there is no requirement to hold an election based on nominations received, could you please confirm (a) or (b) and we will make the necessary arrangements to onboard.
Best Regards,
Sharon
I am nominating myself for a position on both the specification and steering committees. We (SignalFire) are not nominating a separate person for the participant seats. I am eligible for either committer or participant seats from what I understand and am okay
with switching my nomination either way if it helps fill more positions due to a lack of nominees. If I can't leave it open-ended like that and have to pick before-hand, let me know.
I assume that there have been no other nominations yet since I haven't seen any emails to this mailing list.

Hi Justin;
Great question! Intel held the Participant Rep Seat in 2021 for the Steering Committee based on the election held. The Charter Governing Body Composition at that time did not contain the Committer Member Representation and the Specification Committee
wasn't up and running.
Therefore, at this time and according to the Charter, we now have both a seat for the Participant and Committer Rep open for both committees.
Our records indicate you are a committer member on the iot.sparkplug project and thus able to self nominate for the Committer Rep on both committees if you wish. You are also able to nominate Signal Fire for the Participant Member Seat for both committees
if someone at your organization is able to hold that seat.
It's an exciting time for the Sparkplug Working Group and thus we invite all committer and participant members to nominate/self nominate!
Feel free to reach out if you have any lingering questions.
Best Regards,
Sharon Corbett
