Hello.

Not sure if this is the adequate way to ask a question or make a suggestion. Apologies if it is not.

 

The Sparkplug documentation does not clarify at all how an  EoN node or device would specify whether a metric is Read/Write or Read only.

The specs mention “read only” and “read/write” metrics in section 9.1:  EoN NDATA and NCMD Messages, but does not say how those are  differentiated.

 

This would be critical to know on metrics import and subsequent usage of graphics tools to interact with those metrics.
