Hello everyone,

My name is Shreyansh, and I’m a student developer interested in contributing to Eclipse as part of Google Summer of Code 2026.

I recently signed the Eclipse Contributor Agreement and am currently exploring Eclipse projects, especially those related to Java and backend development.

I would appreciate guidance on:
- Which projects are good starting points for new contributors
- How I can begin contributing before the GSoC application period
