[soc-dev] SoC 2025 Ideas?

Hi all,

Sorry to be late to the party - I only thought today about offering a GSoC project and found out that the deadline has already passed two days ago, when signing up for this mailing list today. :(

The more I am confused that I do not see a single idea listed under https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipsefdn/emo-team/gsoc-at-the-ef/-/issues/?sort=due_date&state=opened&label_name%5B%5D=Project%20Idea&label_name%5B%5D=GSoC%202025&first_page_size=20

Is this true? After having a long list of ideas submitted in 2024, we do not have a single submission this year? If this is the case, I guess the EF won’t be even selected as a mentoring organization…

My question therefore: Was it a „hard“ deadline on February 11 or is there still a chance to submit ideas?
