[soc-dev] Update and soft pencil down

Hello All,

We are approaching  the end of this Summer of Code fast and evaluation starts next week, on the 23. 

Also, soft "pencil down" started last night, a week to scrub code, write tests, improve documentation, etc.

How are things with your students and their projects?  

Apparently we are quiet lucky with our students, as we didn't had to fail anyone  at midterm (which is rare this year)
