All, in the last SOA PMC call we have agreed to start a reconciliation on all projects under the
SOA Platform Project umbrella to get a better understanding for ourselves and the entire community where this project and its sub-projects is heading and how to drive its progress going further. I would like to ask all of you who are representing one of the sub-projects to get back to this mailing list with answers on ·
Are you still intending to continue develop you project as part of Eclipse and the
SOA Platform Project? ·
If so,

Are you and if so when planning to mature to Release status with your project (wherever applicable), as we have a couple of older projects still being in
Incubation state?
o
Are you upgrading your codebase to comply with/run under
Kepler?
o
How would you like the SOA project to progress and evolve?
o
What are you planning to driver that direction?
o
What are your ideas to collaborate with other sub-projects on this direction? As an information up front ·
According to Zsolt’s comment on the last call
Swordfish is likely to be put on dormant state soon. ·
It seems that we have found a common denominator between
Mangrove, BPMN2 Editor and Stardust and have started to work in that direction (see e.g.
http://www.slideshare.net/marcgille7/soa-symposium-eclipse-con-2013). We hope to get the above answered for ·
