Hello Angelo,
Does this Declaration look correct to you? Thanks.
Declaration for the eBAM Project EBAM (Extended Business Activity Monitoring, http://www.eclipse.org/proposals/ebam/) is an open source project, proposed under the Eclipse SOA top-level project. EBAM is intended to realize a monitoring platform supporting the performance and management analysis of external systems, and to provide both build-time and runtime tools for a BAM platform.

With this update, +1 from me.

Dear All,
at this time, there isn't any source code for eBAM, we are just starting to develop it.
So we can change the release version to 0.7 , as you suggested.
Tell me if you prefer that I send you a new proposal.
Regards
Angelo

Anne, can you please add a section for mentors with TBD for contents? Also, there is at least one reference to "the newsgroup" that should be changed to "the discussion forum" in the text.
Angelo, you provide a 2010-08 proposed date for 1.0 release. A 1.0 release is a pretty significant event for an Eclipse project. Completely new projects start in incubation; while in incubation, only pre-1.0 release are possible. Perhaps a ~0.7 release makes more sense. If you already have a significant amount of code with APIs that are quite stable, then maybe we can entertain a 1.0 release in this time frame. If this is the case, then I'd like to see some discussion of the existing code as part of an "Initial Code Contribution" section. That section should include some words that state that the code base is already mature with stable APIs.
Does this seem reasonable?
