R: [soa-iwg] Re: [soa-pmc] SOA package introductory page for Eclipse3.6

My proposal is based on the fact that SOA IWG should promote activities
(projects) of the members and of course mention other initiatives on SOA.
For example, SOA Eclipse TLP could be a description with links to the home
page and not to individual projects.

For SOA IWG we should describe all member projects that covering the
different areas.
I would understand if, in the future, we will get an Eclipse SOA IWG distro
or continue to have different downloads for each project.

Regards,
Antonio

Eclipse3.6

We shortly discussed Marcs proposal in th elast IWG call, and concerns were
raised that promoting projects of the SOA TLP in the SOA IWG package would
add still more confusion to what the difference between SOA IWG and SOA TLP
is. What is the opinion of the other IWG members about Marcs proposal?
I personally like to add some more concerns:
- I am afraid adding the links to the SOA tlp projects gives the impression
that all these projects are included in the SOA package, which is not true.
- We targeting for RC2 this week, so I would like to postpone this change to
Helios SR1 if we decide to do it.
- I frankly do not know how to add all this stuff to the main welcome page
without re-creating it from scratch, which seems to be a lot of effort.

Best Regards,
Zsolt
