[soa-iwg] SOA Initiative update Minutes - May 5, 2010
|
REMINDER, our meetings are now bi-weekly, so next call is May 19th.
Attendees:
Donald Smith, Eclipse Foundation
Falko Riemenschneider, Itemis
Antonio Majori, Engineering Group
Zsolt Beothy-Elo, Sopera
Stephane Drapeau, Obeo
Regrets:
Ricco Deutscher, Sopera
Oliver Wolf, Sopera
Agenda Topics:
- Links to BPMN and BAM information from SOA site. Antonio's team will
send suggested changes to Donald and Zsolt and we'll put them in the best
places.
- Suggestion to link to the SOA IWG from the SOA Top Level Project page --
Zsolt will find a good tasteful place and way to make this link.
- Still awaiting on draft road map update -- it is done, just needs to be
sent.
- Still confident on M7 code including planned resources, some challenges
on the server and build side, but confidence is high.
- Suggestion to create a "Contributions Section" on Community page to list
individual and organization contributions to the IWGs various components.
Donald will write a preamble to the section, and Engineering will write a
draft of what they would put next to their name for discussion and drafting.
- Donald will cancel and resend a new meeting invite using the new
every-two-week rule.
- Don

Agenda Items
- Media Launch happened today and Press Release was sent
- Zsolt will link PR to the SOA Initiative Launch Page
- We proposed to meet every 2 weeks rather than every week -- unless there
are objections, the next regular meeting will be May 5th.
- Road Map update draft is ready for group review and will be distributed
shortly by Oliver.
- There are no known release concerns or issues for the Helios release, the
M7 release should have all the expected code. The new contributions from
Engineering are planned for post-Helios (were not planned to be part of the
release train).
