At least one of our downstream consumers (Maven) still needs Java 6, they only moved up from 1.5 recently for their 3.2.x releases… once they move up to Java 7 minimum then we can as well

1.6? I'd say 1.7 would be OK. I'm sure

you can.
Plus Oracle stopped releasing public updates for 1.6 almost 2

Hi,
Any objections if I bump the minimum JRE level for Sisu to
1.6?
All downstream projects that I know of have moved to at
least Java 6 (some, but not all, have moved to Java 7)
If anyone has an urgent need for Java 5 support now’s the
time to say :)
