This response from me is for the RAP project, especially for our problematic feature org.eclipse.rap.equinox.target.feature. However, I am quite sure that there is also a need for action in other projects!

We have discussed this repeatedly over the past few weeks and tried various solutions, but were never satisfied with the results. The rather radical solution will be to remove the Eclipse RAP Runtime Contribution part and, after consultation, the entire ‘runtime’ validation set from the Simultaneous Release Repository. The contents of the validation set will still be available via our project repositories.

Who deals with those problems?  That would be me.  Who sees these problems? That would be the users and consumers.  Who does that harm?  Everyone.

Yes, I'm really annoyed because it feels like I'm talking to a wall.  (I'm considering imposing reciprocal tariffs UNTIL YOU TAKE ACTION.)
