Hi Sara,
The Eclipse SDV Hackathon Chapter Four is getting closer!
From 6–8 October 2026, Friedrichshafen will bring together developers, students, researchers, automotive engineers, and open source contributors for three days of coding, collaboration, and hands-on work around software-defined vehicles.
|
MEET YOUR COACHES & JURY
Throughout the hackathon, participants will work alongside Eclipse SDV experts, project maintainers, mentors, and industry professionals who will help guide teams, answer technical questions, and support the development of new ideas.
Our coaches will support participants across this year’s challenges and projects, while the jury will evaluate the final solutions based on criteria including usability, creativity, coding complexity, completeness, originality, project fusion, and efficiency.
This year, participants can choose between two tracks:
|
Track 1: Hackathon Challenge
Build an application using Eclipse SDV technologies, tackle real-world problems, and pitch your solution to a panel of judges. |
Track 2: Freestyle Track
Contribute directly to Eclipse SDV open source projects by developing new features, improving integrations, and collaborating with project maintainers. |
We look forward to seeing what you build!
Best regards,
The Eclipse SDV team
