Dear Eclipse SDV community,

We are pleased to invite you to two upcoming, free online sessions in our “Shifting Gears with SDV” webinar series, which you can join from anywhere in the world. 🌍

Daniel Krippner (Bosch/ETAS) will demonstrate how the Eclipse Trustable Software Framework is applied to components of Eclipse uProtocol. The session will also explore how the framework can help open source projects measure, track, and continuously improve software quality.

2) Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 13:00 CEST:
When Safety Meets Open Source: Building Trust in the Software-Defined Road

Dana Vede (Eclipse Foundation) will demystify Functional Safety and examine how safety-critical engineering is evolving in the age of software-defined vehicles. The session will explore how open, collaborative development can meet, and potentially strengthen, the rigor required for automotive safety.

We hope you can join us. Please feel free to share these invitations with colleagues who may be interested. You can also find these links in the Eclipse SDV community calendar.
