[sdv-wg] Rust Special Interest Group -- Becoming more open!

Hey folks 👋

First off -- hello! We're a group of software professionals that use Rust in the Automotive domain.

A SIG refinement process has been rolled out last week, thanks to Sara Gallian and Sharon Corbett, which allows us to open the Rust SIG participation more 🎉

We are planning two things as a part of opening up:

• Open the Eclipse SDV Slack channel #rust-sig to be a public channel where all working with Rust will be welcome to drop by and ask questions, even beginner ones!
• Open up our bi-weekly Rust SIG meeting to general attendance to help knowledge share and support Rust projects in the Eclipse SDV

Note: As a part of the SIG refinement process, we must give notice that we'll discuss, decide, and document the outcome in our meeting minutes to open up the Slack channel and meeting invite. We will do this in our next meeting on 2025-04-29. So -- you've been notified!
