Hi everyone.

Today, the Eclipse Foundation announces the launch of a new entity named the ThreadX Alliance. The ThreadX Alliance is a global initiative by the Eclipse Foundation to sustain and promote the Eclipse ThreadX real-time operating system (RTOS) and its ecosystem.

The Alliance's website describes the program in detail. In particular, if you want to build safety-certified products around ThreadX, the ThreadX Alliance allows you to license our safety documentation package. One of the program's goals is to generate enough revenue to perform safety and security certifications for current and future versions of ThreadX.   

So, why would your organisation join the Alliance?

• If you wish to support the ThreadX open source project financially, joining the Alliance provides an easy way.
• If you wish to purchase a safety documentation package license, your organisation must join the Alliance first.
• Finally, if your organisation provides services and support for ThreadX, we should talk! Authorised support and service providers play a central role in the ThreadX Alliance.

Naturally, Alliance participating organisations will enjoy comprehensive benefits, including exclusive invitations to events and discounts. The list is on the Alliance's website's homepage.
