Hi Martin,

1) is it used/valid ?
2) what is it used for ?
3) what's the precedence or relation (if any) between this token and the
one you can set from the Admin UI with the Properties section ?

It is still valid. It is used by the KB as explained at

https://github.com/crossminer/scava/tree/master/knowledge-base/org.eclipse.scava.knowledgebase

To clarify, the KB can be used without deploying the metric platform. It depends on the particular application scenario.
