Graduation is a different topic. That all
depends on the community input and our confidence that the project is ready for
graduation. I will not say it is impossible, but it does sound rather
aggressive considering the pressure on the current Equinox team to release 3.6
of Equinox.

Tom,
Not jumping on the Helios train would be OK. Is this somehow related
to the schedule? Do you think that graduation until June is not
possible?

leaves you no time to incubate and graduate APIs in Helios let alone getting
the build integrated and all the CQs aligned and approved by EMO for Helios.
For example, we need to figure out if the terms of the scala license is
OK according to EMO etc. I think it is simply too late to get on the
train at this point. I recommend you do not attempt to jump on the Helios
train.

planned schedule for ScalaModules. The Eclipse development process requires
(beside other things) building three communities and providing a stable API
before exiting incubation. And as we are in the runtime space we want to put an
emphasis on stable APIs. Your planned schedule seems very ambitious from our
point of view.
