I also support the initiative, and I'd like to see full RDF 1.2 support in RDF4J 6.
Maybe we should collect all the points mentioned in this discussion as one or more tickets on Github.

I already asked in the discussions - is anybody interested in trying to finance the work on RDF4J via Sovereign Tech Fund:

Hi all,

also from my side: great initiative, I would also like to join.

Some additional maintenance I'd see suitable for a major release:

- migrate to Apache Http Client 5
- same as wishes from others: cleanup dependencies for Lucene Sail (incl. making it independent of spatial4j)


@Jerven: I would be interested in hearing your plans for FedX. Will 
reach out to you directly and maybe we can catch up?
