Re: [rdf4j-dev] Planning 4.1.0

I am currently still in a position where I can spend only limited time on RDF4J (though this may improve a little from June/July onward, hopefully) - so my focus, such as it is, will probably be mostly on small bug fixes and improvements, and reviewing where I can.

One thing I _might_ try and take a stab at is adding SPARQL-star support in the native store. But not on the critical path, so certainly don't let that hold up a new minor release.

Fwiw I would personally like it if we had a few more issues fixed, generally, before we did a minor. 7 issues feels a bit "lean" for a minor release (even if they're useful improvements). But it is what it is at the end of the day, so no hard objection either.

Hi Everyone!

It's been about a month since we released 4.0.0 and I'm thinking that it's time to start talking about when we want to release 4.1.0 and what we want to include in it.

Our last review was just over a year ago, so 4.1.0 will take a bit longer than usual because we need to schedule an IP review.

Here are a list of currently completed issues for 4.1.0: https://github.com/eclipse/rdf4j/milestone/78?closed=1

Mostly the issues we have completed are related to performance. I have a few more performance related fixes that I'm working on, but nothing that can't potentially wait until 4.2.0.

Is anyone working on something they would really like to include in 4.1.0?

Or any proposals for a timeline?

Cheers,
Håvard
