Hi

For 2026-12 the platform is moving to Java 25, which breaks parsing of 
large XML files. See

For now QVTo builds have moved to Tycho 5.0.4 and Java 25 consistently 
at 'build time'. Probably does not affect normal users.

But big XML users may hit the limits. For Pivot OCL's AS  a makeParser 
override can revert the parser limits, but this does not extend more 
generally to the more standard files used by QVTo.

The simple workaround is don't use Java 25, else add three -D's to the 
Eclipse launch.

Once 
https://github.com/eclipse-platform/eclipse.platform/discussions/2918 
stabilizes, it begins to look as if there may be a platform fix for the 
Java 25 madness. Else I see no sensible QVTo-level fix; users will have 
to change their launches.

Anyway you should move to Java 25 for your 'build-time' activities.
