Thanks for the reply.
I guess I assumed my project was remote, since I could access my remote files. However, this may not be true. When I’m in the CDT perspective, and I select
“File > New >” I only get “C++ Project” and “C Project”. In my research online for remote CDT, it should say “Remote C++ Project” and “Remote C Project”.
Something is missing from our setup…but I don’t know what that is. Please help!

Are you sure you created a remote project?

[ptp-dev] Remote CDT Compiling

Hello –
We are using Eclipse v3.7.1 and CDT plugin v8.0.0. We wish to perform remote C++ compiles (between two RHEL 6.2 linux machines). We have also installed RDT and RSE. We are able to view/edit our
remote files, but remote compiles/debugging is still local. What are we missing? Please help!! Thanks in advance
