I don't think the (one) error in that log file is related.
I see that one alot in normal ptp launching and just ignore it.

I tried to start the linux x86_64 version of SysMon on my OpenSuse 64
bit system. Unfortunately, it crashed immediately after showing the
splash screen. I attached the produced error log to this mail.
