The 6.0.1 build pieces are saved here: http://download.eclipse.org/tools/ptp/builds/6.0.1/index.html
Which shows it's ptp-master-6.0.1-201206292041.zip
(That's the aggregate of ptp+photran,
which contains features/org.eclipse.ptp.core_6.0.1.201206292032.jar
And that ptp-master is indeed hudson build #302)

ptp-master-nightly build aggregates ptp-nightly and ptp-photran nightly.
The ptp-nightly piece used for that is hudson build #558 which has some git info of
https://hudson.eclipse.org/hudson/view/PTP/job/ptp-nightly/558/   says Git Revision: 488c34e249d1a211047ebf7223fd2ca50dd084e3
and there's also a "Git Build Data" link

Does that help? Greg is travelling and may not be able to respond soon, so I'm trying to help.
There are also some other git links on the various pieces of the pages on hudson, but I don't know what to look for.

So, I'm trying to update the Fedora PTP package to 6.0.1, but I'm having some 
trouble as usual figuring out what source to use.  This looks like the build used:

But the git revision seems wrong:
