I tested sync projects on linux. It seems to work fine... mostly. Twice I received a "bad file
descriptor" error while sync'ing. Not sure why yet.

This is the first package build that has an updated CDT 8.0.1 build in it.  Download it from the following:

PLEASE can folks test on other platforms soon, like today please?

Report back here which platforms you have tested.
Sorry for the short turnaround but any problems we find - we only have one more cycle (next week's RC4) to fix them,.
