Sorry to drop the ball on this in December... Any other ideas in the logo category?
We can discuss at the PTP Monthly developer call tomorrow (Tuesday) at 1pm ET.
I sort of like the idea of the parallel lines, but I'm not sure the letters "P t p" are that meaningful, that large...
Note that we really need a logo because on the new package download page:
http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/index-developer.php
They are using the CDT logo for us now.
I don't think "C C++" is a good way to identify us.
Thanks Constantinos.... we're getting close...
I know some others of you said you were working on artwork... now let's see it!

Dear Beth,
I Couldn't resist of a second version of my idea about a PTP logo, that
depicts in a more clear way the idea of the logo: Two parallel lines (//),
the sign of parallelism in geometry,

PTP-small-logo-v2.png upon witch the initials of the P (arallel) (which is
