Betreff: [eclipse.org-membership-at-large] OpenPASS: New Working Group Proposal
Datum: 30. Juni 2016 um 14:13:16 MESZ
All,
A proposal has been made to establish the Eclipse
OpenPASS Working Group [1]. The goal of the Eclipse
OpenPASS Working Group will be to support
the advancement of advanced driver assistance systems
(sometimes referred to as autonomous driving systems) by
providing tools, systems, and adapters for standardized,
openly-available and vendor-neutral platform for simulation
of traffic scenarios. Volkswagen Group of America, Inc., BMW Group,
Daimler AG, ITK Engineering AG and others
have all expressed interest in participating this collaborative
working group.
The proposed
charter [1] for this working group is available for
review. If you have any comments or feedback on the proposed
charter, please send to openpass-wg@xxxxxxxxxxx.
All Members of the Eclipse Foundation are invited to join and
participate in this working group. If you are interested,
please send an e-mail to the mailing list. Based on the
feedback and level of interest, the working group will be
officially created in July 2016.
Please feel free to contact myself, Ralph Mueller, or the openpass-wg@xxxxxxxxxxx
mailing list if you have any questions.
